Sharing a message with our Community

We have been focusing on sharing a message with our Community. We have created this DLO to share a message with Room 2 about how to take care of their teeth. We used pictures and language to make our message easy for the junior pupils to understand. 

Why its great to be me?

It's great to be me because I like being happy around people that I get comfortable with. E.G I like to be around with people that excite me with my learning, or I like to hang out with people that are normal and are themselves.   

Table Chart-Harlem and Mathias

 

This is a table chart showing PBS responses to dropping rubbish. It is shocking for me and Mathias to see many people dropping rubbish including us. 69.2% out of 100% of pupils in PBS have dropped rubbish accidentally or on purpose. 30% out of 100% of pupils in PBS have taken responsibility for their actions and they sensibly put their rubbish in the bin knowing that dropping rubbish can have a negative effect on tomorrow. Our teachers Mrs Anderson and Mrs kirkpatrick have made a spreadsheet that shows our schools responses to dropping rubbish and the school is deciding what we can do to decrease the amount of rubbish dropped.

Today we did are Food web

Tahuna Torea Exploratio

Yesterday LS1, LS2 and Room 5 went to Tahuna Torea to explore it. Ls2's bus was running 15 minutes late so had to wait. When we arrived there we had our lunch, went to the beach view and went to the playground straight after. This was really fun. I really enjoyed the spinning wheel. It went really fast and everyone got dizzy. The bushwalk/exploring the wetlands was amazing we saw a lot of amazing views. Everyone got tired after a couple minutes. This was all linked to our learning. It was really fun and enjoyable at Tahuna Torea. This a DLO of our trip on Tahuna Torea. I worked with Oh hsen and Te Wai to complete it.

Godwit bird DLO

Today we did a DLO about the Godwit bird. Are teacher gave as question on a DLO and my team had to answer all of them.
